Is the U.S. ready for a woman president?


Today, there are 6 active female Finland, Ireland, Latvia, The Philippines, Sri Lanka and San Marino. Why not the U.S.?

They can't mess it up more than the men have done.

I can't believe that 21 years after Geraldine Ferraro's VP nomination, she's still the only woman whose been near the top of the ticket.

I've been wanting to see Liz Dole run for a long time (like, instead of her husband in 96!), but she's got too much sense, and she knows how nasty the process can get.

That's probably what's keeping Colin Powell from stepping up as well ...
